New leaf...Healthy life

HI LOVLIES!!

I do realize I am the absolute worst at keeping up with this blog!  However with college, a sorority, trying to keep my grades up, and now trying to live a healthy lifestyle that leaves little room for being on my laptop.
I don't know if y'all have heard of Blogilates.com but I have found that I am slightly addicted to her 1. wonderful workout videos (ALL ON YOUTUBE SWEET!)
2. She has an app (I REPEAT AN APP) you can keep up with other girls on this app and help motivate others and share recipes.

if you haven't checked her out yet I sincerely think you should lol.
I am currently addicted to watching the food network any chance I get in order to live a healthy lifestyle so if you see more than the occasional recipe on here that's why.

One show on the Food Network I have now found as a new favorite of mine is The Pioneer Woman I love this because of my southern origins and because all of her recipes are so wholesome.  This next recipe is one I just saw on her show today.  I have not tried it due to lack of ingredients however I will be getting them soon.  And it looks delicious.

sunrise punch

*There is no determined measurements for this recipe

In a blender throw in some ice.  Pour in (your amount) of Orange Juice, and then pour in (your amount) of Pineapple Juice (not my favorite so a little less in my version).  After this put in Milk in (keep in mind that there needs to be plenty of milk about the amount of the two others combined).  Once this is done put in I would say around 1/4 to 1/2 a cup meringue powder (this gives it a frothy texture) and then about a 1/4 a cup of powdered sugar.  Blend and put in cups to enjoy.

Another recipe which I found on The Pioneer Woman was her Tomato Salad this inspired my lunch today which was slightly different from her recipe.

Tomato Salad
Cut up about half a box of cherry or grape tomatoes (she used large tomatoes however I only had grape tomatoes)  After this pour vinaigrette over the tomatoes not too much but enough to coat them. ( I used Greek vinaigrette because that's all I had) Add on top fresh basil and parsley ( I didn't have either but I had dry basil which I shook on top) and mix.  However I also added about two small spoonful's of feta cheese.
This was a healthy and very delicious lunch that I will definitely be making more often.

What are your favorite recipes??
